Ashleigh Plumptre trolls FIFA Women's Goalkeeper nominee list

FIFA, might have some explaining to do over the exclusion of Super Falcons’ Chiamaka Nnadozie from the FIFA Women’s Goalkeeper Awards nomination, a point new summer signing of Al-Ittihad, Ashleigh Plumptre sarcastically points at.

Taking to her social media handle on Twitter, the Super Falcons defender posted a GIF that featured Chiamaka Nnadozie in goal against FIFA’s seven nominee list that excluded Nnadozie from the list.

The nominee list featured goalkeepers such as Mary Earps who led the England Women’s team through to the final of the FIFA World Cup, Mackenzie Arnold of Australia Women, Catalina Coll, Sandra Panos Garcia-Villamill both of Spain, Ann-Katrin Berger of Germany, Zecira Musovic of Sweden, and Christine Endler in the shortlist for the FIFA Best Goalkeeper nomination.

Ashleigh Plumptre took on to her social media to troll Chiamaka Nnadozie’s exclusion, retweeting the nominee list, with a GIF of Nnadozie dancing in goal as an obvious reminder of the Super Falcons goalie.

The Super Falcons left-back joins many other Nigerians in calling out the FIFA nomination list for its bias.
