‘Aje kun Iya’: Melaye mocks suspended SGF Lawal

The ‘Aje Kun Iya’ chorus made famous by Dino Melaye is one step from becoming the victory song of the senator.

When the senate ethics committee cleared him over the controversy surrounding his Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) certificate, Melaye uploaded the now famous Aje Kun Iya.

On the day Babachir Lawal, secretary to the government of the federation, was suspended, Melaye again employed the use of ‘Aje Kun Iya’ to convey his reaction.

But this time, the senator representing Kogi west did not sing. He simply tweeted.

“Babachir Lawal. Aje ku iya nio je. Eni tio toni na ton dena deni,aje ku iya nio je. Ntoooooo,” he wrote.
