Biden accuses Elon Musk of 'vote buying'

Accusations fly in from the United States President Joe Biden ahead of the elections as he accuses Billionaire mogul, Elon Musk of trying to manipulate votes for the 2024 polls.

In a fiery accusation, President Joe Biden has called out Elon Musk, the world’s richest man, for allegedly attempting to influence the upcoming election in favor of Republican candidate Donald Trump.

The controversy erupted after the Wall Street Journal reported Musk’s plan to donate a staggering $45 million per month to a new fund supporting Trump’s presidential campaign.

Biden didn’t hold back, expressing his frustration with Musk and other wealthy individuals whom he accuses of trying to “buy” the November election.

“I’m sick of Elon Musk and his rich buddies trying to buy this election,” Biden wrote on his X handle, urging Americans to contribute to his campaign fund to counteract this influence.

This explosive claim comes on the heels of Musk’s public endorsement of Trump, following a dramatic incident where Trump survived an assassination attempt at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania. With the election slated for November 5th, the rematch between Biden and Trump marks America’s first such face-off in nearly seven decades.

With the battle for the White House heating up, the involvement of high-profile billionaires like Elon Musk adds a new layer of complexity and controversy to an already tumultuous campaign season.
