Veteran Nollywood actor, Amaechi Munagor cries out for help

Amaechi Muonagor, a seasoned Nollywood actor, is currently facing a health crisis as he grapples with the effects of a stroke.

In a heartfelt plea, he has reached out to well-meaning Nigerians, urging them to come to his aid in his struggle to save his life.

In a video that has since gone viral, the veteran actor shared the distressing news that he has been battling this ailment for the past seven months.

Amaechi Muonagor disclosed that half of his body is paralyzed, rendering him unable to defecate or walk independently due to the severity of the stroke.

“I am sick, this thing that is called stroke caught up with me,” Amaechi Muonagor revealed.

“I wasn’t driving, so from there, they rushed me to the hospital. The first hospital was in Nnewi, where I spent some two months, and I was referred to the teaching hospital here in Nnewi, and here I am.

“I was about to enter my car when I was struck with this problem, and since then, it has been getting worse. Right now, I cannot poo, I cannot walk on my own, half of my leg, everything is paralyzed, so it’s a problem to pee,” he expressed in the viral video.

Acknowledging his failure to make his condition known to the public earlier, the Nollywood veteran extended an apology. He attributed this to his initial underestimation of the duration of the illness.

“I’m so sorry I didn’t make it known to the public earlier because I didn’t know it would last this long,” Muonago said, “but as it is now, I am calling on well-spirited individuals to come to my assistance. It is paralysis; half of my body is not movable,” he added.
