Lionel Messi speaking the English language is a sight the world is yet to see, and no matter how many video searches anyone may have made in the past years for evidences that the Argentine speaks the language, it is just not there to see. Well, until now.

A recent video clip going viral on the internet, has shown the Inter Miami star speaking the language in a press conference.

The video was crafted all thanks to AI technology that grants fans of Lionel Messi the rarest chance they can get of their football idol speaking the language.

The 36-year-old has spent a large portion of his career away from Anglo-phone countries, with the most part of his career spent in Spain, hence the former Paris Saint-Germain star’s inability to speak the language.

However, in a recent interview in 2021 with journalist Guillem Balague, Lionel Messi revealed he has been having English classes, admitting he understands the language but cannot speak it.

“I’ve been learning English for a year and a half but when you’re there in England, you get to learn it through necessity. I understand it, but I don’t speak it.”
