Wolves eye Kelechi Iheanacho move from the Foxes

Premier League side, Wolverhampton Wanderers are reportedly targeting Super Eagles and Leicester City star, Kelechi Iheanacho for a summer deadline move.

According to talkSPORT, the premier league club are considering a move for the Leicester man, with the Foxes valuing their key man for a £20 million fee that takes him away from the King Power Stadium.

Wolves have began the season in a very poor mode under new manager, Gary O’Neil, despite playing some interesting football in the start to the 2023/24 season.

With the club having seen to the exit of former stars such as Ruben Neves, Raul Jimenez, Nathan Collins and captain, Conor Coady before losing former manager, Julen Lopetegui, the premier league outfit wants to bring in Kelechi Iheanacho to salvage their season ahead of deadline day.

The win against premier league side, Everton stands as the club’s first win in the last 3 games they have played in the premier league after a humbling at the hands of Brighton and Hove Albion.

Kelechi Iheanacho started his career with Taye Academy before moving to Manchester City academy in 2014.

He made his senior City debut for the Cityzens in 2015, during which his two-year stint at the club, yielded 64 appearances across all competitions, and 21 goals.

His move to Leicester City came in Pep Guardiola’s second season at the club for a reported fee of £25 million in the 2017/18 season.

The 26-year-old has gone on to play 211 games for the Foxes, netting 56 times while winning the FA Cup and the Community Shield trophies.
