I dissected everything about Ronaldo’s game at Real Madrid to get better – Benzema

Karim Benzema has disclosed that he studied Cristiano Ronaldo critically to learn from him.

Benzema and Ronaldo joined the Spanish side in the same summer, from Lyon and Manchester United.

Ronaldo hit the ground running at the Santiago Bernabeu and became an immediate star.

Benzema told Onze Mondia that “When I watched what he did, I tried to concentrate on his movements: the dribbling, the finishing, the passing, his ball-handling, I dissected everything about him.

“But, then it’s impossible to achieve the same thing.

“I still have a lot of things in my head. I want to win more titles, more Champions Leagues.

“And with the national team, the World Cup. That’s all I have is a dream.”
