3 Dead as Truck crushes FUOYE student

In a heart-wrenching incident that unfolded at the entrance of Ilupeju, a neighboring community of the Federal University Oye Ekiti (FUOYE), three lives were tragically cut short.

The victims have been identified as Oyinkansola, a 300-level Mass Communication student at FUOYE, her brother, and a commercial motorcyclist.

The fatal accident occurred in the early hours of Friday, September 15, 2023, leaving a community in mourning.

Oyinkansola, a promising young student pursuing her Mass Communication degree, had her dreams shattered in the most devastating manner.

Her brother, who had recently graduated from FUOYE and established himself as the owner of a Unisex Salon, was also among the unfortunate victims.

The accident was caused by a collision with a truck, which proved fatal for the three individuals involved. Eyewitnesses at the scene reported that the truck crushed their vehicle, leaving no chance for survival.
