2024/25 Champions League draw: Check it out!

Europe’s ultimate Club competition is back in a new format as the Union of European Football Association sets the stage for the 2024/25 Champions League season.

As promised by UEFA after seasons of fighting the supremacy of a would-be European Super League, the organizers of the Champions League competition have brought about a new dawn to what fans over the years have grown to know as Europe’s top tier club tournament.

Champions League final: Real Madrid does it again

In a straight-up mockery of the proposed European Super League tournament, the current season of the UCL sees it take the shape of a league season, deviating from the prior era of group stages leading to a knock-out phase. This season, the Champions League will have more teams in the competition competing for glory, with clubs seeded into 4 pots.

Each club is set to play eight different teams in one pot as instead of the 32 teams that took part in prior seasons, 36 teams will take on each other in the start of this new era.

After the preliminary league phase is done, clubs with better points in each pots, will then face off teams of other points as they go into knockout phases to determine the eventual champion.
