16-year-old boy declared missing by Abia State Poloce Command
The Abia State Police Command has declared a 16-year-old boy, Chibuike Onyebuchi, missing after he reportedly left his family compound over a quarrel.
TopNaija gathered that the child was declared missing on March 31, 2023, following a quarrel with his mother, Mrs Ihuoma Johnson. Chibuike, who hails from Abam Nsirimo in Ubakala, Umuahia South LGA.
He has not been seen since the altercation with his mother.
According to a community source, the missing boy allegedly left his family house to an unknown destination after being scolded by his mother for misbehavior.
Despite efforts by the family to locate him, Chibuike’s whereabouts remain unknown.
In a press release signed by the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Mr Geoffrey Ogbonna, the Abia State Police Command appealed to the general public to report any information regarding the whereabouts of Chibuike Onyebuchi to the nearest police station or to the Police headquarters at Bende Road, Umuahia.
The disappearance of Chibuike Onyebuchi has raised concerns among the local community, and the police are urging anyone with information to come forward to assist in the search efforts.
The family of the missing boy is distraught and seeking assistance from the public to help locate their son.
The Abia State Police Command continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding Chibuike’s disappearance and is appealing to the public for any information that may lead to his whereabouts.
