When Will 2018 JAMB Registration End? – UTME Registration Deadline

JAMB Registration Deadline 2018 has been extended from 6th February, 2018 to Sunday, 11th Febraury, 2018. This candidates interested to register for the 2018 UTME registration can still proceed to a JAMB CBT center and register. This must be done on or before 11.59pm on that said date. This is also applicable to direct entry candidates.

The extension of the UTME was disclosed to the general public through the JAMB Official Twitter Handle.

“The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) announces the extension of registration for 2018 UTME till midnight of Sunday, 11th February, 2018.

“JAMB as a responsive organisation has taken the decision albeit with great hesitation to accommodate candidates who failed to register between the two months window period that ended at midnight of Tuesday, 6th February, 2018”

JAMB also advised her candidates to make sure they utilize this opportunity and register their JAMB as the registration deadline will no longer be extended.

“UTME candidates are therefore strongly advised to take advantage of the extension to register as request for further extension would not be entertained.” JAMB Added.

It has been a tradition for candidates to wait for an extension of the deadline of the UTME Registration before they register. This has prompted JAMB to categorically state that from next session late registration fee will be imposed on candidates who wait for late registration.

“The failure of these candidates to register is unfortunate and the Board hastens to add that this culture of impunity will not be tolerated henceforth.

“Indeed penalty will be imposed for late registration from next session.” JAMB Added.
