Free Windows 10 Upgrade will soon no longer be free, Get It Now With Assistive Tech

Currently, there are two possible ways for you to get a Windows 10 upgrade for free. The first one is officially taken back by Microsoft on July 29, 2016, but it still works. Another one is the free Windows 10 upgrade for people using assistive technologies.

Microsoft hasn’t been that strict in verifying the eligibility criteria for people. So, regular users have also taken advantage of the upgrade. Last year, there were reports of Microsoft wanting to block the upgrade and related tools, but it seems that didn’t happen.

But now the company has put an end date on offer and according to their webpage carrying the details of the offer you can only upgrade to Windows 10 until Dec 31, 2017.

The end date wasn’t there at the time when Microsoft launched the free Windows 10 upgrade for users of assistive technologies. Maybe this time Microsoft doesn’t keep running it in the background. Similar to how people can still possibly upgrade from their Windows 7 or 8.1 to Windows 10 as they did with the “Get Windows 10” offer.

Whether or not the unofficial Windows 10 upgrade works, users with assistive technologies have an official way of getting Windows 10 before the end of 2017. Use this link to get the free Windows 10 upgrade.
