Simi’s 60-Year-Old Mother Engaged, To Wed This January 2018

The biological mother of popular Nigerian singer, Simi, is getting married this month at Daystar Christian Center, Lagos. The mother of the singer, who is in her 60’s, gave the testimony at the church’s end of the year service yesterday.

She said that her daughter, Simi, had often advised her to attend programs at other churches (like Methodist where her target audience worship), since Daystar was majorly a youth church.

Ms. Jedidiah Ogunleye, who is a widow and currently heads the Ushering unit of Daystar Christian Centre, said she had always desired to be married since joining the church twenty years ago.

Gushing about her excitement in a private group chat she said: “Awesome New Year, It’s my first year in the last 20 years when I have a man of my own”.

Awwww, don’t we just love ‘love’?
