Woman Claims Late Nollywood Actor Murphy Afolabi Owed Her N1.4 Million
A Nigerian businesswoman has come forward allege that the late Nollywood actor, Murphy Afolabi, owed her a substantial sum of money before his untimely demise.
The claim was made during the Firdau Prayer held in honor of the actor on Monday, May 22nd, 2023, in Lagos State.
During the solemn event, the woman courageously stepped forward.
She addressed the Islamic clerics present, stating that she had engaged in a business dealing with Murphy Afolabi amounting to N1.4 million, which remained unpaid at the time of his passing.
When asked about her expectations, the woman revealed that a committee was already in the process of working towards recovering the funds owed from the late actor’s family.
