Why Premier League player was kicked out of title celebration

Winning the premier league may not stop you getting kicked out from the title celebration as Manchester City star, Scott Carson has learnt.

Manchester City secured their fourth consecutive Premier League title on Sunday with a 3-1 victory over West Ham United, narrowly surpassing Arsenal to clinch the top spot. Phil Foden, recently named Premier League Player of the Year, scored twice, while Rodri added a third goal.

Following their win, the team celebrated on the Etihad Stadium pitch, with Rodri notably criticizing Arsenal’s mentality. The festivities continued in the dressing room and later in Manchester city centre.

However, celebrations took a turn when Scott Carson, the team’s third-choice goalkeeper, was reportedly ejected from the party by security at around 4 a.m. Carson, 38, was allegedly involved in an altercation with another guest, prompting his removal from the venue. The incident, reported by Splash News, marked the end of his night.

The team’s celebrations lasted until 5 a.m. at Greek restaurant Fenix, attended by players, staff, and their partners. Manager Pep Guardiola also joined the festivities, celebrating his sixth league title in seven seasons with the club. Notable players like Jack Grealish, Rodri, and Kevin De Bruyne were seen leaving Fenix at 5 a.m., appearing visibly tired from the night’s events.

Carson, who has been with Manchester City for five seasons, did not play any games this season but was included in the matchday squad. The veteran goalkeeper, who has previously played for Leeds United, Liverpool, and Aston Villa, joined Manchester City on an initial loan deal in 2019 before making the move permanent in 2021. He has made only two appearances for the club since his arrival.

The incident did not overshadow the team’s overall celebrations as they commemorated their impressive achievement in the Premier League.
