Why me run after me, BBNaija’s Nengi boasts

Rebecca ‘Nengi’ Hampson, a popular housemate at the ongoing Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) reality TV show, says she’s not a man snatcher as alleged by others in the house.

The former head of house (HoS) has been making the headlines over her seeming back and forth relationship with Ozoemena ‘Ozo’ Chukwu. She had also caught the attention of some of her other male housemates, fueling dust among her fellow female colleagues.

On Wednesday, Timmy ‘Tricky Tee’ Sinclair had raised the issue during a conversation involving Nengi and Olamilekan ‘Laycon’ Agbeleshe.

Tricky Tee told Nengi that the seeming growing perception about her in the ‘Lockdown’ house is that she is trying to “snatch” other female housemates’ boyfriends. But reacting, Nengi dismissed such claims, noting that the men are the ones going after her and not the other way round.

“I am not a man snatcher. They rush after me,” she said.

Nengi is up for possible eviction alongside 15 other housemates ahead of Sunday’s eviction show. Ozo, the current HoS and Dorathy, his deputy, are however exempted from eviction as a result of a new arrangement that grants them immunity.

Kate ‘Ka3na’ Jones and Boluwatife ‘Lilo’ Aderogba became the first two housemates to be evicted from the show as the battle for the N85 million grand prize heats up.
