What Mudryk did after Jackson hat-trick spells trouble for Chelsea

They may be teammates but Chelsea’s Mykhailo Mudryk was not all too happy with Nicolas Jackson’s hat-trick.

In a thrilling night of Premier League action, Chelsea secured a resounding 4-1 victory against Tottenham at the London Stadium, but the celebration was not unanimous as Mykhailo Mudryk seemed unimpressed by Nicolas Jackon’s hat-trick heroics.

The match was marked by a series of dramatic events, including Dejan Kulusevski’s early goal for Tottenham, swiftly followed by a downward spiral into chaos.

Cristian Romero found himself on the wrong side of the referee’s decision after a reckless challenge on Enzo Fernandez within the penalty area. This led to a penalty for Chelsea, converted by Cole Palmer to level the scores.

The woes continued for Tottenham in the second half as Destiny Udogie received a second yellow card for a late tackle on Raheem Sterling.

Desperate to defend their goal, Tottenham adopted an unconventional formation, but Chelsea eventually broke through the offside trap.

It was Nicolas Jackon who made the most of this opportunity, ending his four-match goal drought and securing his first hat-trick in a Chelsea shirt.

However, his celebration left his teammate, Mykhailo Mudryk, visibly frustrated.

As Jackon raced towards the goal, Mudryk patiently awaited a pass that would have offered him an easy goal-scoring opportunity.

Much to his chagrin, Jackon opted to take the glory himself, skillfully rounding Guglielmo Vicario in Tottenham’s goal and celebrating with an iconic ‘siuuu’ gesture.

While the majority of the Chelsea squad joined in the celebrations with Jackon, Mudryk appeared to turn away in apparent frustration before eventually making his way back to the center circle.

Fans, in response, have criticized Jackon for his seemingly “shameless” celebration, particularly considering Chelsea’s two-man advantage during the match.

Nevertheless, Jackon’s performance is likely to boost his confidence, having faced criticism for his recent goal-scoring struggles.
