What Chelsea are demanding of Man United for Cucurella deal

It is no secret that Manchester United are eyeing a move for Chelsea left-back, Marc Cucurella, however, the Blues aren’t ready to make it that easy for the Red Devils even though the Spaniard is on the fringes at Stamford Bridge.

The Blues are eager to profit of the loan move for the former Brighton star and are reportedly set on a fee more than what Manchester United are offering at the moment.

The two clubs are reported to be £5 million apart in their valuation of a loan deal for Marc Cucurella as the Red Devils  have already submitted a proposal to sign the defender on a season-long loan deal on Tuesday.

The Stamford Bridge side are open to letting the 25-year-old leave this summer but reportedly want nothing to do with the Spaniard’s wages while Cucurella is over at Manchester.

Chelsea also are requesting for a £7m loan fee for the duration of Marc Cucurella’s stay at Old Trafford.

The former Barcelona star joined Chelsea in a £62m move from Brighton last summer and had endured a difficult spell at Stamford Bridge ever since the move.

Manchester United are offering just £2m for the fullback with Chelsea not ready to bulge.

The two clubs are still in talks as they seek to reach out an agreement before deadline day.

Marc Cucurella is keen on a move to Old Trafford to link up with Erik ten Hag’s Red Devils and boost his game time option following the advantage of an injury to United’s left-back options.
