West Ham United vs. Chelsea: Liverpool fans react

Chelsea did Liverpool dirty in the transfer market following the saga for Moises Caicedo and Romeo Lavia, who at various points in the summer window where considerable targets for the Reds only to be tapped up by the West London club.

In the aftermath of their signings from their respective former clubs, it was very sure the Liverpool fandom won’t leave any stones unturned when it comes to getting on the premier league action that follows Chelsea and their new signings.

The Sunday affair between West Ham United and the Blues provided such luxury for the Liverpool fans as they paid close watch on Moises Caicedo’s debut for Chelsea.

Will the Ecuadorian make the Reds fanbase weep further for losing a promising prospect to their bitter rivals, or will they have the last laugh?

The West London side battled out a mini-derby with their London rivals that ended with Chelsea on the losing side, much to the glee of the Liverpool fanbase.

The Reds wasted no time in making their voices heard as they churned on tweets on Twitter to gloat on the £115 million signing’s debut for the Stamford Bridge side.

It was a debut that goes begging for the Chelsea divide as the Ecuadorian put up a rather mixed performance that cost the Blues 3 points following his introduction at the London Stadium.

The Blues were forced to trail by 3 goals to 1 at full time, thanks to goals from Nayef Aguerd, Michail Antonio and Lucas Paqueta for the Hammers, while Chelsea had January signing, Carney Chukwuemeka netting what ultimately became a consolation goal.

Moises Caicedo on his end caused the foul on Emerson that gave lead to the penalty that sealed Chelsea’s defeat on his debut.
