“We did not re-sign Rashford just to sell him” — Ten Hag warns PSG
Manchester United manager, Erik ten Hag has a word or two for potential suitors of star forward, Marcus Rashford as reports circulate of Paris Saint-Germain eyeing a summer move for the England international.
During his pre-match presser ahead of the FA Cup tie versus Liverpool at Old Trafford, the Dutchman restates Rashford’s commitment to the team, insisting that the club did not hand the Manchester born striker a contract extension just to let him go off that easy.
Erik ten Hag in his quote to reporters, said;
“We did not re-sign Marcus last season for four years with the intention to sell him now. He should be part of Man United project and it’s not a subject we don’t talk about.”
Following recent form, Marcus Rashford has seen a lot of narratives surround him, leading to speculations of a reported move away from Old Trafford in the summer.
There are even rumors that the club is willing to let the England international go should the right offer come, with reports alleging a €75 million price tag on the forward.
However, judging by Ten Hag’s quotes, it appears the reports may not hold waters.
The Manchester United forward recently got himself infamous after he reported to training late and hung over from partying in Belfast a day before a crucial fixture.
