It’s really sad that millions of children across Nigeria, like this young girl have to pay the price for a failed education system.

She’s tired, tired of being deprived of education because her parents/guardians possibly couldn’t afford it.

It’s not just about her, because crowd-funding can solve this singular case. It’s about what she represents – children willing to learn, to even sacrifice their blood for education, but a failed system is depriving them of that.

Again, why should a child be sent home because her parents/guardians haven’t paid her fees. No regard for safety? Why not call her parents to come pick her up instead of leaving her to walk home alone?

This happened in Warri, Delta state. We’ll say, don’t just rally round to help her (this is very good to do), hold your leaders accountable!

We bet campaign posters would have gotten to her community. This is not even funny.
