Femi Adesina, Musician Dede Mabiaku Reconcile In Lagos

Femi Adesina, special adviser to President Buhari on media and publicity, and Afrobeat musician Dede Mabiaku on Saturday made peace after their disagreement on a live radio programme.

Mabiaku had earlier walked out of a show on Lagos-based 91.3FM after complaining that Adesina was rude to him when he tried to make a point.

A video of the incident later went viral. Mabiaku had demanded an apology, but Adesina refused. However, the duo settled their differences at the premiere of Airtel Touching Lives, season 3.

Emeka Oparah, director of corporate communications, Airtel Nigeria, and Steve Ayorinde, Lagos state commissioner of information, were said to have facilitated the reconciliation. Mabiaku and Adesina shook hands, smiled, and also posed for photographs.
