Until Dawn Remaster coming to PS5, PC soon (TRAILER)
Sony has officially announced that the highly anticipated remaster of Until Dawn Remaster is set to launch on PS5 and PC this fall.
The announcement came during the State of Play event after months of teasers, and it included a new trailer that promises a spooky experience just in time for the Halloween season.
The Until Dawn Remaster remake has been rebuilt in Unreal Engine 5, bringing a host of new features and improvements over the original PS4 title.
One of the most notable changes is the introduction of a third-person perspective, allowing players to experience the horror from a new angle.
Developer Ballistic Moon, which has taken over from the original creators Supermassive Games, has also enhanced the game’s visual fidelity with an expanded colour palette to create a more cinematic feel.
This update will include contextual character movement animations, adding depth and realism to the gameplay.
While the exact release date hasn’t been confirmed, a fall launch strongly suggests an October release, perfectly aligning with the Halloween season. This timing would make the game an ideal choice for horror fans looking to immerse themselves in a chilling adventure.
In related news, Sony is also developing an Until Dawn movie, which is expected to hit theaters in the near future. This adaptation promises to bring the game’s intense, branching narrative and psychological horror to the big screen.
Stay tuned for more updates on the Until Dawn remaster and its exact release date as we approach the fall season.
