Reports are in that Uber drivers in Lagos are currently protesting at the Lekki Toll gate.

Yesterday, the association of Uber drivers reportedly sent a letter to the Commissioner of Police, seeking permission to have a peaceful protest over the reduction in their fare prices.

In the letter shared, the drivers expressed their discontent with the decision made by Uber Nigeria to reduce their fare prices. According to them, this new development will be less favourable to them, especially because the taxi company will still continue to receive their 25% monthly commission.
