Two 19-year-old Premier League players arrested for Rape

In a startling development, two 19-year-old Premier League players from the same club have been arrested over the weekend on suspicion of rape and assault, as reported by the UK Sun.

The unfolding incident saw one of the footballers briefly interviewed by police at their club’s stadium, suspected of assault and aiding and abetting a rape. Subsequently, upon leaving the stadium premises, the premier league player was formally arrested and detained overnight in police custody.

The following day, he faced further questioning by detectives under caution.

Concurrently, his teammate was also apprehended and interrogated on suspicion of rape by law enforcement authorities.

Confirming the arrests, a police spokesperson issued a statement, stating, “Officers have arrested two men following a report of a rape. A 19-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of assault and aiding and abetting a rape. A second 19-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of rape.”

Both individuals, whose identities remain undisclosed, have since been released from police custody on bail pending further investigation into the allegations.
