Twitch bans Fortnite streams featuring Butts, Breasts on green screens | Latest Policy Update

Twitch has published a new policy, which goes into effect on March 29, that prohibits streamers from projecting their gameplays onto green-screened body parts, particularly personal ones like buttocks and breasts.

This decision was made in response to a recent trend started by controversial streamer Morgpie, who projected her Fortnite gaming session onto a closeup of her bottom.

Following her lead, other streams began overlaying their games over various body parts, causing Twitch to intervene.

This move comes after prior changes to Twitch’s regulations were sparked by Morgpie’s actions.

She streamed using a camera positioned such that it appeared she was gaming topless, shortly after Twitch eased its regulations for sexual content on the network.

This resulted in a meta of streamers pretending to be naked, causing the platform to reverse its policy adjustments.

Twitch now prohibits users from claiming to be completely or partially naked during their sessions.

These adjustments are intended to uphold Twitch’s standards for sexual content and nudity, resulting in a more suitable and polite atmosphere for all users.
