Subsidy scandal: How APC Chieftain expose Tinubu’s hidden fortune [Video]
Dr. Garus Gololo, a well-known leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has made serious accusations against President Bola Tinubu. He says that Tinubu owns 17 oil wells in the Niger Delta and uses the country’s oil subsidy system to make money for himself.
These claims were made in a video that went viral and was obtained. In it, Dr. Gololo spoke in Hausa and voiced great worry about the President and his family controlling all of Nigeria’s oil wealth. Read more here.
Lagos tricyclist brutally murdered by Kesari boys in Mushin
On the evening of July 31, Bolakale Yusuff, a commercial tricyclist in Lagos, was brutally murdered by a notorious criminal gang known as the ‘Kesari Boys‘ in the Mushin area of Lagos.
Yusuff, a 30-year-old father of one, was attacked with a rifle and cutlasses, sustaining fatal injuries before succumbing to his wounds. Read more here.
Lagos resident struggles to get refund from Dana Air after flight cancellation
A Lagos resident, Sulton Hamzat, is still waiting for a refund of N131,544 from Dana Air after the airline cancelled his Lagos to Abuja round-trip flight in April.
Hamzat had booked the flight on April 16, planning to travel on April 30, but received a cancellation notice on April 25, citing a suspension from the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA). Read more here.

62 killed in VoePass plane crash in Brazil
In a horrifying incident, a VoePass airline aircraft carrying 58 passengers and four crew members tragically crashed into a residential area on the outskirts of São Paulo on Friday, August 9. The flight, which departed from Cascavel airport in Paraná, met a devastating fate as it spiraled out of control, plummeting into a single residence within the complex.
Miraculously, despite the intense impact and the inferno that ensued, no residents in the area were injured. However, dramatic footage circulating on social media captures the chilling moment the aircraft spiraled downward before colliding with the ground, engulfing the scene in thick black smoke.
