TopNaija reports that three Chinese expatriates abducted by unknown mining labourers in Osun State have regained their freedom.

The Chinese immigrants were abducted last week Monday at Akere Village in Ifewara after a disagreement with their labourers at the mining site.

A police escort attached to the Chinese immigrants was also killed.

The labourers said to have contacted families of the victims and demanded the sum of N500 million, TopNaija reported.

The Osun State Police Spokesperson, SP Yemisi Opalola, confirmed the release of the three expatriates.
