“The future of Saliba rests on what Arsenal becomes” — Cascarino
Former Chelsea player Tony Cascarino puts Arsenal fans on the edge over his recent claims about the Gunners and their star William Saliba.
According to the former forward, the North London side will be tempted to sell William Saliba if La Liga side Real Madrid comes up with a luring offer.
Speaking on talkSPORT, Tony Cascarino drew some nerves with his statement when he highlighted that the towering defender is already performing at the level of a Galáctico, but Arsenal’s success—or lack thereof—might ultimately determine his future.

The ex-footballer turned pundit in his quote said:
“Look, winning and being successful is a great way of keeping players, it really is.
“Arsenal have to achieve that because Saliba is playing to the level of being a Real Madrid player but he’s got to be convinced that Arsenal are going to be a successful and winning team. They need to be challenging to win the Champions League because that’s what Real Madrid do so often,”
For Cascarino, the Gunners’ ability to keep Saliba hinges on one key factor: winning. With Madrid’s near-permanent presence in the Champions League final stages, the allure of the Spanish giants might prove irresistible unless Arsenal can keep pace with Europe’s elite.
Could Saliba be tempted by the bright lights of Santiago Bernabéu? Arsenal may have a battle on their hands to hold onto their defensive rock.
