Students killed as trailer rams into them in Lagos [VIDEO]

The Ojodu area in Lagos state is currently experiencing civil unrest after a trailer suffered a brake failure and rammed into students of the Ojodu grammar school who were going home.

An unspecified number of the students were killed in the accident.

The students are currently engaging trailer drivers and are destroying cars in that axis.

The Lagos state police command has drafted some of its men to the area to restore law and order.

The driver of the trailer has been arrested.

The public relations officer of the Lagos State sector of the Federal Road Safety Corps, Bisi Sonusi, confirmed the incident and absolved the operatives of the corps of any complicity in the events that led to the incident.
