#HinyUmoren: Akpabio sues David Hundeyin over defamation [DOCS]

Nigeria’s Minister for Niger Delta Affairs, Senator Godswill Obot Akpabio has sued leading Nigerian journalist Mr. David Hundeyin for false publication and defamation of his character.
According to the Twitter publication made by the active investigative journalist Mr. Hundeyin, the letter he received from the Minister’s lawyer was addressed to BusinessDay Newspaper and Hundeyin stating an immediate retraction and apology for his exclusive investigative publication fingering and linking him as one of the perpetrators of the death of young Nigeria lady, Iniubong Umoren, who was last seen on the fateful day she went for a purported job interview.
TopNaija had amplified the detailed reports and findings, revealing the alleged killers of Iniubong Umoren.
Mr. Hundeyin, who finds the letter laughable, has however wondered why Business Day is involved in the said letter, stated that he doesn’t work there. He further challenged the former Senator and Governor of Akwa Ibom State to go to court and sue him for all he cares.

Hi @Senator_Akpabio, this has come to my attention.
First of all, no idea why the lawyer you hired addressed it to BusinessDay as if I work there??♂️
Second, please feel free to sue.
Thanks. pic.twitter.com/DXIloY5q94
