“Salah to be out for 28 days” — Agent reveals
Contrary to reports of Egypt forward, Mohamed Salah missing 2 AFCON fixtures, his agent has come out to disclose that the Liverpool winger is set for an elongated time on the sideline.
Taking to social media to dispel the rumors relating to his client’s withdrawal from the AFCON competition, Ramy Abbas has revealed that the Egyptian star is set for at least a 21-28-day spell away from football.
Hence, Mohamed Salah will be returning to Liverpool to continue his rehabilitation.
On his social media post, Ramy Abbas wrote;
โMo Salahโs injury is ๐ฆ๐จ๐ซ๐ ๐ฌ๐๐ซ๐ข๐จ๐ฎ๐ฌ than initial thought. The injury is more serious than first thought, Salah will be out for 21-28 days and will not miss just two games,โ
โHis best chance at participating in the current AFCON is by undergoing intensive rehabilitation in the UK. Salah will be rejoining the team as soon as he is fit.โ
This means, Mohamed Salah pending Egypt’s subsequent game(s) could have played his last minutes for the Pharaohs against Ghana.
It leaves a dark taste in the mouths of both club and country who will be missing a key player in their squad for their important fixtures.
Pending Egypt’s results, Salah could potentially miss Liverpool’s most important fixtures in the 21-28 days time frame stipulated by Abbas.
