Ronaldo’s Agent, Jorge Mendes Offers Man United £85million Option

Despite the fraught relationship between his client, Cristiano Ronaldo and Manchester United, Jorge Mendes seems to be looking to cement an established relationship with the Old Trafford club as reports state he has proposed a £85million alternative signing following Ronaldo’s exit from Man United.

The Former Manchester United striker Cristiano Ronaldo’s agent, Jorge Mendes, is said to have offered the Red Devils the chance to sign Atletico Madrid forward Joao Felix in exchange of his client.

Following Ronaldo’s heated conversation with journalist Piers Morgan in the previous month, Man United and the player decided to part ways.

While Manchester United is hunting for a replacement, Ronaldo is still looking for a new team.

Felix wants to leave Atletico Madrid in January, and his agent Jorge Mendes has seized the chance to suggest Felix to Manchester United as a Ronaldo substitute.

According to reports, Atletico Madrid wants to pay £85 million for Felix. In 2019, Joao Felix moved from Benfica to Atletico Madrid for a reported £113 million.

The 23-year-old is presently competing in the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar with the Portugal national team.
