“Replace underperforming appointees” former governor El-Rufai urges president Tinubu
Former Kaduna State Governor, Malam Nasir El-Rufai, has offered advice to President Bola Tinubu, suggesting that he dismiss any appointees who have failed to fulfil their duties effectively.
El-Rufai made these remarks during an interaction with journalists in Maiduguri on Monday. He urged President Tinubu to consider amending policies that have not produced the desired outcomes.
“In instances where an appointed individual is not meeting expectations, there should be no hesitation to replace them with someone more capable,” El-Rufai stated.
He emphasized the importance of humility in acknowledging shortcomings and making necessary adjustments.
El-Rufai also stressed the significance of citizens’ prayers and support for the administration’s efforts to address various challenges.
“As citizens, it is crucial for us to pray for our leaders, asking for divine guidance in making decisions and taking actions that benefit society,” he remarked.
He emphasized the need for leaders to demonstrate humility and readiness to rectify mistakes for the betterment of the nation.
