Rapper Iceprince Zamani arrested for abduction and assault of police officer

Nigerian rap artiste, Iceprince Zamani has been apprehended by the Police for abducting and assaulting an officer of the law.

The rapper was said to have committed the act in the wee hours of Friday morning, September 2, in Lagos State.

Confirming the incident, the PRO of the Lagos State Police Command, Benjamin Hundeyin, in a statement, narrated how the entertainer was stopped for driving without a license plate.

Iceprince then agreed to be taken to a station but in course of this, he abducted and assaulted the police officer in his car and even threatened to throw him down in the river.

According to Hundeyin, the rapper will be arraigned today, September 2, 2022.

The statement reads;

“At 3am today,

@Iceprincezamani

was stopped for driving without license plates. He agreed to be taken to the station. He, thereafter, abducted the police officer in his car, assaulted him and threatened to throw him in the river. He has been arrested and would be arraigned today.”
