President Tinubu Meets French President Macron and World Dignitaries during Visit to France

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has announced that he recently had a meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron, as well as other world dignitaries, during his visit to France.

The Nigerian politician revealed this through his official Twitter handle on Thursday.

Tinubu stated that he was warmly hosted by President Macron at a state banquet, which was a part of his visit to France for the New Global Finance Pact Summit.

The purpose of the summit is to attract foreign investment into Nigeria.

Expressing his gratitude, Tinubu wrote on Twitter, “I had a great time with other Heads of State and important dignitaries at the State Banquet hosted by President Emmanuel Macron in Paris, France, this evening.

President Macron and his wife, First Lady Brigitte Macron, were both gracious and warm, making the event an enjoyable experience.”

The International GFPS, with the theme, ‘Building a new consensus for a more inclusive international financial system,’ began on Thursday and is set to conclude on Friday.

The summit aims to establish a fresh agreement that promotes inclusivity within the global financial system.
