Popular Filipino series ‘Her mother’s daughter ‘ main lead tested positive for Covid 19

Superstar and main lead of the popular series Her mother’s daughter, Kimberly Sue Yap Chiu and Co star Paulo Avelino were tested positive for Covid.

Kim Chiu had risen for her fame in the popular series , Her mother’s daughter and had acted other popular series like, Linlang.

ABS-CBN entertainment journalist MJ Felipe revealed this on X (formerly known as Twitter) on Jan. 15.

Kim and Paulo were supposed to meet the showbiz press face-to-face for the relaunch of the series “Linlang” today, Jan. 15, which will be aired on ABS-CBN’s free channel soon but unfortunately, the acting couple had met the press via Zoom due to their current condition.

The series revolves around boxer-turned-seaman Victor “Bangis” Lualhati (Paulo Avelino) in his quest to uncover the truth behind his wife Juliana’s (Kim Chiu) infidelity. As Victor digs deeper, he discovers that there is more at play than just a cheating spouse and realizes that the woman he loved and married is not who she seems.

As he uncovers her darkest secrets, he’s forced to confront his demons and shortcomings, questioning his worth as a man and a husband.

Completing the stellar cast are Jaime Fabregas, Raymond Bagatsing, Albie Casiño, Jake Ejercito, Heaven Peralejo, Adrian Lindayag, Race Matias, Benj Manalo, Lovely Abella, Frenchie Dy, Ross Pesigan, Hanna Lexie, Juno Advincula, Connie Virtucio, Lotlot Bustamante, Meann Espinosa, Danny Ramos, Bart Guingona, Marc Mcmahon, Anji Salvacion, and Kice. FM Reyes and Jojo Saguin direct the series.

The popular primetime series held the No. 1 spot for several weeks.
