Police arrest notorious traffic robbers terrorizing Ketu

Two notorious traffic robbers known to be around Abiola Garden and Ketu/Ojota have been arrested by the police.
The robbers, known to dispossess motorists of their belongings around Abiola Garden and Ketu/Ojota Road have been nabbed by police operatives.
The Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin confirmed their arrest in a statement on Monday, June 13.
Hundeyin said the suspects, identified as Kareem Ahmed (26) and Afo Emma (24) were found with stolen items; 5 stolen android phones, a jack knife, a cutlass, a mask and weed suspected to be Indian hemp.
The PRO said that the two suspects are assisting the police in an ongoing investigation aimed at arresting other criminal elements in the axis.”
According to Hundeyin, the arrest followed repeated complaints from motorists on the activities of criminals around that area.
Commissioner of Police, Abiodun Alabi has directed that efforts be sustained in all identified black spots to arrest and prosecute all miscreants in accordance with the law.
