Peter Obi advised to leave Labour Party with immediate effect

Nigerians are urging the 2023 Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, to cut ties with the party, following damning allegations of corruption and dishonesty leveled against its leadership.

Whistle-blowing media organization, PIDOM NIGERIA, accused the Labour Party’s leadership, including national figure Julius Abure, of engaging in corrupt practices and working against the party’s principles.

PIDOM tweeted, “This man Julius Abure has too many baggage beneath his sleeves. He is not who or what we think he is. The man is not honest, & is highly corrupt. The coming days will tell. Peter Obi, you better watch your back. He is feasting with your enemies, striking deals left & right.”

In a subsequent tweet, PIDOM urged Peter Obi to exit the Labour Party promptly.

“Peter Obi should leave Labour Party with immediate effect.

“He should set up his own political party, call it any name, Nigerians will join. Let’s build a true political party with integrity & modest ideologies.

“The current LP @NgLabour is highly highly corrupt, & rotten.”

See how Nigerians reacted:

Omega Dreams: “Greetings Sir @PeterObi if you are still interested in saving the soul of this Nation, Pease create a new political party millions of Nigerians with join you.

We will make the party very popular. Just like we did for Labour party.

The earlier the better and if you’re done with the race. Pls officially resign and leave the party. God bless you sir”.

Kevin Odiaz: People blame the generality of Nigerians for not staging a protest against INEC and the judicial robbery. I personally blame Labour Party for not staging the mother of all protest after that day light robbery by INEC. No security could have stopped them if they moved to mobilize Nigerians. Now I know why 😎.

Musa Dawa: Mythological excitement is not good for politics. Labour Party can do better with tough leadership at the highest level before the grassroots can follow suit, leaving Mama, Papa, and Pikin with immediate effect is confusion.

Tee Talk: If Peter Obi creates a new political party, he might be arr@sted because that would be the strongest and biggest organic party in all of Africa. @PeterObi get it done today πŸ‘‹πŸ‘‹

Olasupo Jakes: Labour Party is an SPV party even long before Peter Obi joined. It’s going to be very difficult to clean up the party, but he can reduce the corruption to its barest minimum. I don’t think setting up a new party is the appropriate solution.

Nnamani 4th Son: I agree with this. Peter Obi commands the largest number of Nigeria youths and wherever he goes we will go. Labour party is highly compromised and with the way it is, it will be hard to achieve his goals with the party. There are many corrupt politicians that will backstab him when the time comes. He should leave on time.

Rock Solid: Obi will not contest the next election under Labour, infact Obi may not contest in 2027. This is the situation. Nothing more nothing less.

Chinaza Night Wears: Peter Obi should join no party. He should just live his normal life which he is currently doing, helping and making donations before they k1ll him for us. He doesn’t need that kind of stress now
