Pastor Adeboye warns members against questioning church tithes
Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), has cautioned members questioning the allocation of church funds, particularly tithes and offerings.
In a video message, Adeboye admonished against inquiring into the financial affairs of the church, warning that such actions could impede personal growth.
He referenced past instances where individuals who sought accountability for their tithes faced repercussions, suggesting that their financial status declined as a result.
Pastor Adeboye emphasized that there is no scriptural basis for demanding transparency regarding the use of tithes and offerings, citing Moses’ absence of financial reporting to the Israelites.
Some billionaires asked Pastor Adeboye for a monthly report of how their tithes were being spent. He felt this was unbiblical, but reluctantly did it.
In the next 2 years, God punished them for their pride in asking for accountability by reducing their wealth.
