Over 3,000 legislative aides protest non-payment of salaries

Several legislative aides to Nigerian  Senators and members of the House of Representatives are protesting non-payment of salaries and allowances at the National Assembly.

The over 3,000 aides allege that they are owed several months of entitlements, making it difficult for them to feed, pay rent and settle other pressing bills.
