Oprah Winfrey To Interview Michael Jackson’s Sexual Accusers

Wade Robson and James Safechuck, the two young men who accuse late pop icon Michael Jackson of sexual abuse which is chronicled in the documentary “Leaving Neverland,” will get a chance to tell their story when they get interviewed in a Q&A session by renowned TV host Oprah Winfrey.

“Oprah Winfrey Presents: After Neverland” will air at 10 p.m. March 4 on HBO and Oprah’s OWN platform immediately following the second instalment of the four-hour documentary directed by Dan Reed.

Reed will join Robson and Safechuck in the Q&A to be recorded Thursday in front of an audience of sexual abuse survivors and those whose lives have been impacted by abuse. The first half of “Leaving Neverland,” which made waves at the Sundance Film Festival last month, debuts March 3 on HBO.

Robson and Safechuck maintain they were sexually abused by Jackson whom they were friends with at the ages seven and 10, respectively. The pair who are now recounting their experiences in graphic detail previously testified in support of Jackson when he battled other molestation accusations.

Members of Jackson’s family have repeatedly defended the late musician and have sought to block HBO from airing the documentary. They also question Robson and Safechuck’s credibility given their shifting statements.

“The facts are public record. I mean what he testified under oath are all the different things that he said,” Marlon Jackson, an older brother of Michael, told “CBS This Morning” on Wednesday.

“Michael’s not here to defend himself,” Jermaine Jackson, another older brother, said at “CBS This Morning.”
