Only Three Nigerians The Forbes Billionaire List For 2023 (See Names)

Three well known Nigerian men have made it in Forbes magazine list of 2023 billionaires.

TopNaija understands that Forbes released the list that constituted of about 2,460 individual billionaires in the world.

Here are the three Nigerians who made it into the list:

1. Aliko Dangote:

Aliko Dangote is the founder and president/CEO of the Dangote Group, West Africa’s largest corporation. He is Africa’s richest person.

Dangote Cement Plc, one of the Group’s subsidiaries, is the largest listed firm in West Africa and the first Nigerian company to be named to the Forbes Global 2000 Companies list.

2. Abdul Samad Rabiu:

Abdulsamad Rabiu founded the BUA Group, a Nigerian conglomerate involved in cement manufacturing, sugar refining, and real estate.

The united company, known as BUA Cement Plc, is listed on the Nigerian stock exchange, and Rabiu owns 98.2% of it.

In 1988, he started his own business importing iron, steel, and chemicals.

He is ranked fourth among Africa’s billionaires.

3. Mike Adenuga:

Chief Michael Adeniyi Agbolade Ishola Adenuga Jr is a Nigerian billionaire magnate and Africa’s third wealthiest person.

Globacom, the business he runs, is Nigeria’s second-largest telecom operator, with operations in Ghana and Benin.

He is a shareholder in the Equitorial Trust Bank and the oil exploration company Conoil (formerly known as Consolidated Oil Company).

As of May 2021, Forbes projected his net worth to be $6.2 billion.

He ranks sixth among Africa’s billionaires.
