Tobi Amusan has set a new record in African women’s 100-meter hurdles at the Diamond League meet in Paris.

The Nigerian athlete had 12.41s, the third-best run of the season only behind Jasmine Camacho-Quinn (12.37s) and Alaysha Johnson (12.40s).

Amusan was a second faster than she was in the September 2021 Diamond League final where she broke Gloria Alozie’s 23-year-old national and continental record.

She also got two gold medals in women’s hurdles and 4×100 meter relay at the just concluded African Athletics Championship in Mauritius.
