Nigerian Afrobeat singer David Adeleke popularly known as Davido has given a subtle brag about his latest achievement.

TopNaija reported earlier that Davido not only made history, but also made Nigerians proud as he, alongside Trinidad Cardona and AISHA, sang the 2022 World Cup soundtrack titled ‘Hayya Hayya’ (Better Together).

Taking to the microblogging platform Twitter, Davido said he is honoured with the feat, adding it is a win for Africa.

A video shared by Davido’s Lawyer Prince Bobo Ajudua, captured the duo expressing excitement over the latest achievement.

Prince subtle mocked Super Eagle, saying they didn’t make it to the World Cup to which Davido responded that he did.

Prince said: Nigerians didn’t make it to World Cup

Davido said: ….but I did.
