Netflix acquires Kunle afolayan’s new movie “mokalik”

Seems like our wait for Kunle Afolayan‘s new movie is going to be longer but for a good reason. The ace director Kunle Afolayan revealed that his new movie “Mokalik,” has been acquired by Netflix.

The director, Kunle Afolayan shared the news in an interview with NAN, revealing that other movies of his have also been acquired. He added that Netflix is yet to announce the film’s release date.

“I wish to inform you that Netflix has acquired “Mokalik” and some other of my films,” he said.

“Mokalik” which stars popular singer Simi, Femi Adebayo, and Charles Okocha, is centered on an 11-year-old middle-class boy who becomes an apprentice in a mechanic shop.
