A ‘troll’ has finally gotten a response from BBNaija’s Nengi Hampson after she claimed she is ugly without makeup.

Former Big Brother Naija housemate, Nengi Hampson has shared a chat that showed the tactic a fan of hers, identified as Anita Paul used to get her attention.

Possibly, the follower had sent tons of complimenting messages to the reality show star without getting a response.

This is coming after Nengi shared a video of herself on Tuesday morning, April 26, and captioned it with a self-appraisal,

“My problem is I’m too fine.” She captioned.

Reacting to the video, the follower dropped a vile comment, unknowing to Nengi, the fan aimed to get a response from her.

Surprisingly, the tactic worked, as Nengi replied to the message with “Okay” and a laughing emoji.

When she responded, the female fan suddenly reversed her position and pronounced Nengi to be beautiful. She expressed her gratitude for the prompt response to her message.

Sharing a screenshot of the exchange on her Insta-stories, Nengi wrote, “People are crazy on the internet.”

The exchange generated mixed reactions from netizens, as many noted that fans send negative comments to celebrities to get their attention because that’s the only kind of messages they give attention to.

Many also opined that celebrities would rather reply to a follower trolling them than a compliment from a fan.
