NDLEA Denies Making Naira Marley Brand Ambassador
The NDLEA has reportedly denied the rumour that had trended regarding appointing Naira Marley as ambassador.
Nigerian singer, Azeez Fashola, popularly known as Naira Marley had gone viral after he was announced as brand ambassador for NDLEA, coupled with some pictures he had also taken with them.
The superstar even advised drug dealers to not indulge in drug dealing despite his well known drug dealing habit.
Femi Babafemi, the spokesperson of the NDLEA, said there was nowhere in the pictures and caption posted on Thursday by the agency which said that the singer had been appointed as an ambassador.
The anti-drug agency on Thursday had stirred reactions after the NDLEA shared pictures of Naira Marley at its office.

In a video tweeted by TVC on Friday, August 18, Femi Babafemi, the spokesperson for the NDLEA, debunked the claim, adding that the singer was never appointed as the anti-narcotic agency’s ambassador neither was he appointed as WADA ambassador.
