The Nasarawa Police Command has arrested a woman who allegedly stole a three year old toddler in the state with plans to sell him in Enugu.

Soyemi said that the woman was arrested in Garaku, Kokona Local Government Area of the state after the police acted on intelligence received.

He said that preliminary investigations revealed that the suspected human trafficker and her accomplices had stolen the child with the intention of selling him to a prophetess in Enugu state.

According to the CP, the traffickers had taken the child to Enugu, but could not sell him, so they brought him back.
