“My mum sold fruits for 19 years straight” – Crayon recounts struggle
Nigerian singer, Crayon has gone down memory lane of how his mum sold fruits for 19 years straight at Iyana-Iba, Lagos.
While speaking on his new album “Trench to Triumph,” he revealed that the album detailed his real life story as everything in it resonates with what he had gone through before being in the spotlight.
According to him, he and his family used to live in a tumultuous “face-me-I-face-you” house where the neighbors are constantly at lock-heads with each other.
To support their family, his mother hawked fruits in Iyana-Iba Lagos for nearly two decades.
He claims to have passed through his trenches and is now at a point in his life when everything is going well and he is in his triumphant era.
